GETTING HERE
Nicely out of the way, convenient to reach
PARKING
Park in the church square. Walk down the hill. After the first house on the left there is a passage. Our front door is up this passage on the right.
BY CAR
Garmin sat navs recognise Saint-Sulpice sur Cele (46160). The road we enter is the D13 which goes straight through the village. If the sat-nav doesn’t recognise Saint-Sulpice then try Marcilhac Sur Cele or Brengues, the villages either side of Saint-Sulpice which are slightly larger.
If you are coming on the motorway, these instructions should get you there:
- To St Sulpice from the A20, southbound
- 30 km after Gignac péage , exit 56
- 1st roundabout straight on, follow Figeac
- 2nd roundabout straight on, follow Figeac
- Ca. 9 miles after péage, (a. signpost on right to Quissac)
- b. Take next turn right to Espedaillac.
- Ca. 51/2 miles
- a. Through Espedaillac,
- b. in the country after pond on left, bear left , follow Figeac
- T junction turn left , follow Figeac (not right to Célé valley)
- 300 metres Turn right to St Sulpice, D13
BY TRAIN
The nearest train stations are Assier (16km), Figeac (30km), Gramat (30km), Brive (94km) and Cahors (50km). Car hire is available in Figeac, Cahors and Brive. To find out more about train options visit http://www.uk.voyages-sncf.com.
BY PLANE
If you are flying the nearest airports to Saint Sulpice are Rodez (flights from Stansted), Toulouse (flights from all major UK airports), and Brive (flights from London City). From Rodez (80km east of St Sulpice) it is then a 90 minute drive to the village, from Toulouse (162km south of St Sulpice) it is 2 hours and from Brive (84km) under an hour. The airports have car hire.
